Srinagar police solved three burglary cases by arresting two burglars and recovered stolen property including golden ornaments worth lacks of rupees on their instance.

In the recent past, Police Station Sadder received many complaints regarding the burglary incidents in the area. Accordingly a team headed by SDPO Sadder Shri Sandeep Bhat was constituted and investigation was set into motion.

After specific inputs, the team zeroed on two suspects namely Kamaljeet Singh @ Sunny son of Harbajan Singh resident of Mehjor Nagar Srinagar and Malkeet Singh @Malky son of Krishan Jeet Singh resident of Alochibagh  Srinagar.

During questioning, the duo admitted their involvement in various burglary cases and on their instance stolen property including golden ornaments (Kadda-08, pound 01 ,Rings 04, ear ring 01 Pair, EarTops 01 pair, tiepin 01 , Jumka 01 pair), electronic gadgets ( Laptops 04,  Apple I-Pad -01, Mobile Phones-02, Camera canon 02,  Hard Disc-01  and other items (Gas Cylinder -01 , Heating Stove 01, Jacket  zara-01 , Shoes 02 pairs) worth seven lack rupees has been recovered.

By arresting these two burglars, case FIR No. 52/17 under section 457, 380 RPC, 131/17 under section 457, 380 and 17/2016 under section 457, 380 have been solved.  

The investigation of the case is going on. More arrests and recoveries are expected.
